Documents you'll need
- Birth certificates for all household members (other proofs are accepted, such as a passport or military discharge papers)
- Social Security cards for all household members (cards are required)
- Driver license
- Government ID or current picture ID for all adults 18 and older
- 6 recent consecutive paycheck stubs
- Or proof of self-employment income
- Social Security or Supplemental Security Income award letter
- Pension
- VA or retirement letter
- Current child support statement
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or food assistance letter
- 6 recent bank statements
- Current IRS 1040 tax return
- Child care statement
- Section 8 only: valid lease if you are renting in the City of Seguin now (a voucher does not count)
