  • Public assistance
  • Child support
  • Unemployment
  • Social Security or pensions
  • Proof of address: current rent receipts or a signed copy of your current lease
  • If you stay in someone else's apartment: a notarized statement from them and a copy of their signed lease
  • Proof that every school-age child is registered in the City of Poughkeepsie School District
  • Birth certificates for everyone in the household
  • Social Security cards (and alien registration cards if they apply) for everyone in the household
