New York has 18 open area-wide waitlists on Fair Shot Housing right now: 6 for Section 8 vouchers and 12 for public housing. One waitlist for a whole city or county, run by a local housing office. It is not for one building.

Check the housing office’s own website for lists we haven’t added. This is not every waitlist in New York. It holds the lists we found on housing offices’ own websites that were open when we last checked (Oct 6). Lists that are closed are not shown, and the housing office decides who qualifies and when a list opens. For one particular building, search the homes in New York.
