Arkansas has 3 open area-wide waitlists on Fair Shot Housing right now: 1 for Section 8 vouchers and 2 for public housing. An area-wide waitlist covers a whole city or county, and a local housing office runs it. It is not for one building.

None of these housing offices posts an income limit we can check, so each row says to check the rules.

What to check before you apply

Check the housing office’s own website for lists we haven’t added. This is not every waitlist in Arkansas. It holds the lists we found on housing offices’ own websites that were open when we last checked (Oct 8). Lists that are closed are not shown, and the housing office decides who qualifies and when a list opens. For one particular building, search the homes in Arkansas.
